Despite just two months remaining in 2014, the Karnataka anti-corruption ombudsman, the Lok Ayukta, has for the first time booked over 100 state government officials for corruption in a single calendar year. The Karnataka Lok Ayukta crossed the century mark for corruption cases for 2014 last week when it carried out simultaneous raids on four government servants in Bellary, Koppal, Mysore and Shimoga and unearthed illegal assets worth Rs 4.6 crore.
MANGALORE, Oct 28 : After being suspended since February 2014, Air India flights from Mangalore to Kuwait resumed on Monday, Oct 27. An Air India official explained that the flights from Mangalore to Kuwait will depart from Mangalore at 7:30 am local time on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and reach Kuwait at 11:15 am local time after a short transit period in Bahrain. He further explained that the return flights will be at 12:15 pm local time from Kuwait and will reach Mangalore at 7:25 pm local time.
